Launching in October 2021, Aspinal of London's Story 4 collection enters into the enchanted world of woodland, capturing the dreamlike calm found within its hidden depths. The collection is both a continuation of Aspinal's sustainable journey and an embodiment of the meaningful partnership with The South Downs National Trust.
Through working closely with the rangers at The South Downs National Trust, Aspinal learned the local treescape is in decline, leading to an adverse effect on biodiversity. To help take action, Aspinal is joining forces with Trees for the Downs, a campaign dedicated to planting trees and maintaining the integral natural environment of the South Downs. This winter, Aspinal is planting 2500 trees in partnership with The South Downs National Park Trust. For every woodland scarf, charm and keyring from the Story 4 collection sold, Aspinal will plant an additional tree, with a target of 10,000 trees.
The collection embodies the mood of the season through a colour palette filled with richness and depth reminiscent of an autumnal woodland scene. Burgundy and Evergreen bring to life the natural foliage of fall; rich red leaves dress the trees, sitting within a luscious, deep green forest bed.
