Boating Events

Henley Royal Regatta

When: 1st - 5th July

Where: The Thames

What: Henley Royal Regatta is undoubtedly the best known regatta in the world and is both one of the highlights of the summer sporting calendar and the social season.

It attracts thousands of visitors over a 5-day period and spectators will be thrilled by over 200 races of an international standard, including Olympians and crews new to the event.

Aside from the rowing, visitors can take in the ambience enjoying the facilities within the enclosures.

Cowes Week

When: 3rd - 10th August

Where: Isle of Wight

What: Since 1826 Cowes Week has played a key part in the British sporting summer calendar and is one of the UK's longest running and most successful sporting events. It now stages up to 40 daily races for around 1,000 boats and is the largest sailing regatta of its kind in the world.

Rooftop Film Club

Where: Peckham, Shoreditch, Kensington

When: Until September 30

What: Rooftop Film Club is back for another film filled season of classic, cult and recent film releases on London's finest rooftops until 30th September 2015.

Goodwood Revival

Where: Goodwood Racecourse, West Sussex

When: 11th - 13th September

What: The Goodwood Revival is a three-day festival held each September at Goodwood Circuit since 1998 for the types of road racing cars and motorcycle that would have competed during the circuit's original period-1948-1966.

Glorious Goodwood

When: 27th - 31st July

What: Rebranded the Qatar Goodwood Festival in a 10-year sponsorship deal, Glorious Goodwood is where fashion, high society and world class horseracing come together for five enthralling days.


Where: All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club

When: 29th June - 12th July

What: Wimbledon, is the oldest tennis tournament in the world, and is widely considered the most prestigious. It has been held at the All England Club in Wimbledon, London since 1877. It is one of the four Grand Slam tennis tournaments, the others being the Australian Open, the French Open and the US Open. Since the Australian Open shifted to hardcourt in 1988, Wimbledon is the only major still played on grass.


Cowdray Gold Cup

Where: Cowdray Park Polo Club, West Sussex

When: 23rd June - 19th July

What: The Jaeger-LeCoultre Gold Cup is played to decide the British Open Polo Championship and is the premier polo tournament in the world at 22 goal (High Goal) level. With all the international stars of the game in action in the incomparable setting of Cowdray Park's famous 'Lawns', the event draws in polo aficionados from all over the globe.

Audi International Polo Day

Where: Guards Polo Club, Great Windor Park

When: 25th July

What: This Summer's International Polo at Guards Polo Club in Great Windsor Park is set to be one of the most glamorous fixtures on the sporting and social calendars, attracting Royalty, celebrities and VIPs to this headline event.
