A limited-edition design from the collaboration, the Patrick
McDowell Velvet Slippers weave together heritage and personal
history in a gesture of quiet opulence. The idea sparked when
McDowell, a visionary sustainable designer, revealed he still wears
a pair of Aspinal slippers purchased over fifteen years ago.
Handcrafted in black velvet and delicately hand-embroidered with
golden silk roses, each pair is created in partnership with Bowhill
& Elliott, the esteemed Norwich shoemakers renowned for over a
century of fine craftsmanship.
The red satin quilted lining and insole cocoon the foot in
luxurious comfort, while the leather heel and sole secured with
brass pins ensure enduring elegance and durability.
Finished with a co-branded label sewn into the insole and
presented in a signature Bowhill & Elliott shoe box, these
limited edition velvet slippers are a collectible expression of
timeless style and artisanal refinement.
