Personalisation

We are pleased to offer a comprehensive personalisation and engraving service to our customers.  Almost all our leather goods, photo albums, leather journals and books can be embossed with names, dates and occasions and many of our silver hip flasks, cufflinks and silver pens can be engraved with initials and names.

Every item can be delivered to you or directly to your gift recipient, presented in Aspinal signature gold foil gift box to make beautiful personalised gift that will last a lifetime.

Timescales

We ask that you allow an additional 5 days for personalisation of any leather products, however every order is dealt with promptly and we can usually complete within 3 days. 

For our Engraving Service, please ensure that you allow an additional 5 working days for any item to be engraved and at busy times of the year, such as Christmas please allow between 7-10 working days for this same service.

Options for Personalisation

Initials:  Unless otherwise stated, the personalisation of initials (max of 4) will be placed on the outside, bottom right hand corner of the product.

1 or 2 Lines:   Where possible, you will be given the opportunity to choose the position of text. The most common positions are top centre or bottom right corner. Each line can have a maximum of 20 characters.

Types of Personalisation

Gold & Silver Foil Stamping:   Each letter is stamped in to the leather using either Gold or Silver foil. This is suitable for both traditional and contemporary items.

* Due to the textured surface of our French Linen, Safari and Jewel Calf leathers, small breaks may appear in the foil stamping.

** Gold and Silver foil is unsuitable for Soft Suede Notebooks, Journals and Albums.

Blind Embossing:   Letters are hot stamped / embossed in to the surface of the leather and will appear without colour.

* Blind Embossing is the ONLY type of personalisation that can be used on items which have been bound in Soft Suede.

Please specify when completing personalization details, any upper and lower case characters, for example; if you type initials “cstr” into the personalisation box this is how it will be embossed, in lower case.  Typing them as “CSTR” means we will personalise with upper case.

Using our best expertise, we will style the personalisation and embossing in the most appropriate design and format for the item. Any specific requirements should be discussed with our Customer Service Team prior to placing an order. Please also be aware that our example font style on the website is not necessarily the font that will be used on each individual product. Please make sure you check all spelling, grammar and punctuation as we cannot accept returns of products that have been personalised.

We regret we are unable to personalise any item that has an expandable gusset or pocket which includes all handbags, business cases, portfolios and briefcases.
