Farthing Cufflinks

Item code: 047-1684

A Farthing (derived from the Anglo-Saxon farthing, a fourthling or fourth part) was worth one quarter of a penny. First minted in the 13th century the Farthing continued to be used in the United Kingdom until December 1960 when they ceased to become legal tender.

Created from genuine circulated farthing coins that have been cleaned and polished, our Farthing Cufflinks are 2cm in diameter and feature one heads and one tails of the coin set in a rhodium plated base with a swivel cufflink fitting.

Each pair of Farthing Cufflinks arrive in an exquisite Aspinal signature jewellery presentation box.

Please note: These are original circulated farthing coins and therefore the dates on the cufflinks will vary to that displayed in our images.
