Chelsea Flower Show 2016

As the Year of the British Garden continues, Aspinal of London are looking forward to the 2016 RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Taking place from 24th - 27th May, this year's theme of Health, Happiness and Horticulture is inspired by RHS's ongoing project 'Greening Grey Britain'.

Organised by the Royal Horticultural Society, the Chelsea Flower Show has taken place nearly every year in the grounds of the Royal Hospital in Chelsea since 1913.

After entering the show through 2013 winner Philip Johnson's unforgettable poppy display, visit the fascinating photographic exhibit and floral arch, created to celebrate the 90th birthday of HM the Queen.

Exploring this year's theme and providing inspiration for visitors to participate in 'Greening Grey Britain', BBC presenter and garden designer Ann-Marie Powell's has created the RHS Garden for 'Health, Happiness and Horticulture'. On the project, Ann-Marie says: "Gardens and gardening do more good to heart and soul than they are every given credit for…Too many people are paving over their front gardens but anybody can have a beautiful front garden."

Further highlights include RHS Ambassador Jekka McVicar's 'Modern Apothecary Garden', Diarmuid Gavin's fantastic 'British Eccentric Garden' and a musical garden inspired by world-renowned percussionist Dame Evelyn Glennie which plays music to visitors. If you're a fan of jazz, stay for 'RHS Chelsea at Twilight' - an evening of music and bubbles with the iconic Ronnie Scott's Jazz Orchestra.

Flowers and gardens have also been a huge influence on Creative Director Mariya Dykalo this season, resulting in our beautiful Botanical Print Collection. Flowers have also been an inspiration for our Brook Street Store's window display celebrating Vogue Magazine's 100th Birthday.

To celebrate the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, Aspinal of London are delighted to announce that from 23rd - 29th May, spend £350 or more in store and receive a beautiful bouquet with your purchase.
