Discover Aspinal of London

Blogger and Editor of, Natthias Mitchinson tells us what he was looking forward to a London Collections: Men's, about men's style in London and his favourite Aspinal products.

What do you think is so great about men's style in London? I love the diverse nature of style in London, particularly during London Collections: Men. One minute I could be sat next to a guy in a tailored Gieves & Hawkes suit, and the next minute, a guy wearing head-to-toe knitwear from Sibling.

What are you most looking forward to at London Collections: Men's? Emerging talent is something I fully support so I'm looking forward to see what all the NEWGEN designers do this season, especially Lee Roach. But Craig Green made me cry last season, so he's my must see this time round.

What's your favourite men's accessory from our collection? The Berkeley Journal, in black, is as close to perfection as a note-pad can get. As a journalist I am always scribbling things down, so this allows me to do just that, but in style.

How would you describe your style? Calm. I'm all for minimal outfits that I can dress up with accessories. I tend to invest in staple pieces that don't require much thought in the morning when I throw them on.

Who would you say is your inspiration? Professionally - Sarah Mower. She's a fabulous writer and an ardent supporter of emerging British talent. Style-wise - Nick Grimshaw. His attire is sometimes a bit kooky but I've never seen him out in a bad pair of shoes.

What's your favourite men's bag from our collection? The 'A' Tote is a timeless classic. It's got the space to carry everything one could possibly need and the saffiano leather means it's durable enough to carry every day. It's a must have.
