Discover Aspinal of London

Guest Edit: Carrie from WishWishWish talks travelling in style

Summer is here, and we can't wait to go on holiday! We ask jet-setting blogger Carrie from WishWishWish all her about her travels..

Do you have any packing tips to share with our readers?

Sounds obvious, but try and plan your outfits ahead of time - you don't want to have to pack too many pairs of shoes "just in case" - have your outfits ready and you won't be going over your weight limit!

What are your top 3 travel destinations?

I absolutely love visiting cities, and New York is top of my list. For a weekend away Paris holds a special place in my heart, and one travel destination that I've not made it to yet but is next on my hit list is Tokyo - I can't wait to discover Japan.

Have you ever had a travel disaster?

Nothing bad - only ever having to repack at the check-in desk after realising my case was overweight! Too much shopping. Nobody likes having their undies on display to the whole airport..!

Obviously you've travelled quite a lot- where's next on your list?

I'm heading off to New York followed by Las Vegas on Saturday! I can't wait!

What are your favourite travel accessories?

I have a beautiful pink Aspinal of London passport case that comes everywhere with me, but aside from that I carry a huge backpack around with me as it fits all my techy bits.

Is there anything that you never travel without?

I'm always with my camera - it's huge and extremely heavy which isn't easy on the shoulders, but I wouldn't be without it!

Do you go for airport-chic or a more laid back look when travelling?

I'm very much about comfort, especially if I'm flying long haul. I'd much rather be able to slip my shoes off and curl up than feel uncomfortable in boots and tight clothes!

Celebrity with the best airport style?

Alexa always has that laidback cool look going on!

Thank you Carrie!
