This AW15 cyber trend is here. Think futuristic design, bold colours and metallics...
A prominent trend this AW'15 on the catwalk has been futuristic-like designs. It was in some ways like watching The Jetsons after The Flinstones on Cartoon Network! Sleek and modern silhouettes were adopted by Peter Pilotto, Jonathan Saunders and Mary Katrantzou, while they used hyper-color hues that all had a rather science fiction style feel to them. We have recently launched our Bug Range, which was inspired by an imaginary futuristic cyber world. We have a range of Hepburn Bags, iPhone cases, Large Pouches and Keyrings.
Bold colors are a huge trend on the runway, often appearing in a few specific pieces within a rather dark collection while other times taking the whole line-up over. From DKNY's springy look to Diane von Furstenberg's electric blue pantsuit combination, we know that no collection is complete without at least one bold statement and cyberistic qualities. Our Etre Cecile Mini Letterbox Rucksack in Cobalt Blue & Chartreuse Yellow is exactly that, due to its bold, loud colours.
Designers continue to mine the metallic trend, sculpting shimmering fabrics into sinuous, body-skimming looks. Most notably at the Burberry show with the metallic trench coats, and matching handbags. With Antonio Berardi and Balmain's shimmering silvers; Tom Ford and Marc by Marc Jacobs's futuristic iridescents, there is plenty to choose from this season. Our Mini Marylebone in Smooth Silver can be the finishing touch of metallic to your fashionista outfit.
