"Life is like riding a bicycle; to keep your balance, you must keep moving"
This weekend, on Sunday 8th September eight members from Aspinal House, Aspinal of London's Head Office, will be taking part in the London to Windsor Charity Cycle Ride in support of the Limbless Association.
The team have been training hard in preparation for the big day; many of our participants have never attempted anything like this before, and it will be a tremendous achievement for everyone involved. The team will be cycling between 29 and 55 miles, commencing their journey in Richmond Green and making their way through leafy lanes and pretty Thames Valley villages, ending up in Alexandra Gardens, Windsor.
Support is greatly appreciated as the Limbless Association does not receive any Government, lottery or NHS funding and survives solely on donations like this from members, friends, private supporters and sponsors. Despite this, they continue to offer all of their services for free, ensuring that no one is ever without the information and support they need, regardless of their ability to pay.
Earlier this year, some of our team cycled from London to Brighton to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
The team are excited to take on the challenge of cycling all the way to Windsor this weekend, and we wish them the very best of luck.
Any donations, however small, would be greatly appreciated.
